It is always an adventure as a photographer going into a wedding with an event planner that you have never worked with. You might get someone that is just there for the money or someone that loves doing what they do. The latter was definitely the case for K Carlton Inc based out of Chicago.
I got the distinct pleasure of working with K Carlton Inc. at a destination wedding in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This weddings original destination was set for Jamaica but do to updated CDC travel regulations it had to be moved 3 weeks before the wedding. She worked to find a new venue, and rework the entire wedding plans, while keeping everyone informed of all the changes. As the wedding got closer, she talked with me, so that we would be on the same page the entire time, once we reached Fort Lauderdale. Upon arriving to Florida, she had the destination wedding running smoothly. She walked side by side with me to all shoot locations before the rehearsal and kept me informed during the rehearsal, as well as made sure everything ran smoothly on the day of the wedding. There were many parts that were moving at all times and she handled the whole thing amazingly.
